COVID-19 Coronavirus Notice

Updates and Notices

Updated May 1, 2020

Everyone at Performance Vision is happy to announce that we will be resuming our normal services beginning May 1st. As many of you know, during the stay-at-home order issued by Governor Kay Ivey, we were limited to emergency services only. Gov. Ivey has recently announced her intent to let this order expire on April 30 th and replace it with Safer-At-Home. This means we can resume our normal operating hours and can see clients in non-emergency situations. However, in order to comply with guidelines, we
will be operating at a reduced schedule to cut down on traffic in and out of the building, and to give us extra time to clean/disinfect between appointments.

Beginning May 1st :

  • We will begin seeing all patients, both emergency and non-emergency
  • We will be open during our normal business hours
  • We will be spacing out appointments to reduce foot traffic
  • We will continue to clean and sanitize frequently

We would like to remind everyone to please remember to follow CDC suggestions by:

  • Washing your hands frequently
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Cover your face with a mask or cloth when in public

We want to ask all of you to please be patient with you as we ramp back up to full operating capacity. It may take a bit longer than normal to get in for your appointment, but we are spacing them out in order to best protect everyone!

Again, we are happy to begin seeing you all again beginning May 1st . Please call our office at 256-469-6427 to schedule an appointment. Also remember, contact lens orders can be placed directly through our website or by calling our office and we are still offering free shipping!

We will continue to update as we receive additional information.
